FasTie® 1” High Strength FasTie
High Strength Coupler and Stud
High Strength FasTie works the same as the original FasTie. The
difference is in the load-bearing surface area inside the coupler.
Instead of six ball bearings to hold the FasTie stud, there are three
locking lugs to distribute the load more evenly. See below. Contact
area is increased dramatically.

When coupler and stud are connected, the High Strength FasTie
assembled length is .10” (2.5mm) longer than the original version.
The outside diameters are the same.

High Strength Couplers and Studs must NOT be used with the original
FasTie. Slight dimensional differences will cause malfunction if the
versions are mixed in an installation. Standard Ejector Bars, Center
Adapters and Air Manifolds may be used with the High Strength FasTies.

High Strength FasTie Length Comparison
Mating High Strength Components must have “HS” stamped on the hex body. Production parts will have knurling on both components for easy identification.
The new design significantly improves coupler life in demanding applications such as center knock-out.
