Mold Validation Cart
The Smartflow Mold Validation Cart is a portable cooling water line test unit that facilitates cooling water bench test of plastic injection molds.
The cart includes a pump and reservoir to supply cooling water to an on-board 4-port manifold system. The on-board Smartlink® Tracer®VM Interface records the test data onto a USB or integrated laptop for validation or analysis.
Mold Maintenance Shops – Document flow rate before and after mold maintenance.
Mold Builders – Confirm target flow rate of mold cooling lines before shipping to a customer or molding department.
Injection Molding Processors – Troubleshoot restricted, clogged, or leaking water lines outside of the molding machine to free injection molding machine time.
Product Overview
The Smartflow Mold Validation Cart is an efficiency tool, most useful for large injection molding facilities with decentralized mold test needs. The cart can be moved to individual work stations for on-demand use, bypassing the need to wait for availability of a maintenance bench. Ball valves and quick disconnect fittings are included on each manifold port for water circuit isolation.

- 18-Gallon Water Tank and 1/2 HP Pump for cooling water containment and supply
- 1″NPT Supply Water Manifold, blue anodized aluminum with (4) ports and 100 psi reference pressure gauge
- 1″NPT Return Water Manifold, red anodized aluminum with (4) ports, TracerVM base flow meters, Delta-Q® flow regulators
- Ball Valves and Quick-Disconnect Fittings for circuit isolation and speedy connection to injection molds on a bench, in storage or on a press
- Smartlink® TracerVM Interface for on-board flow data collection and communication to mobile devices
- SWAP® Valve for quick evacuation of all circuits between mold tests.
- Optional Notebook Computer preloaded with Smartflow Data-Logging software (Ethernet switch included)
